The 2020 Civil Affairs Roundtable, 8:00-17:00 Tuesday, 7 April 2020 at the National Guard Armory Conference Room in Washington, D.C.
This year’s Roundtable will conclude the annual discussion of “Integrating Civil Affairs” and unpack a rich harvest of finding and recommendations for civil affairs development at last fall’s Symposium in Tamp, FL and detailed in the 2018-19 Civil Affairs Issue Papers, soon to be published.
At every Roundtable, the discussion shifts to a more granular identification of DOTMLPF-P [doctrine, organization, training, material, leadership, education, and policy] pathways to guide CA modernization and continuous investment in an innovative and adaptive force. This is especially with regard to the 2020 Civil Affairs Force Modernization Assessment.
In addition to the speakers and panel discussions, attending members and friends of the Civil Affairs Corps will conclude by looking at how to advance civil affairs at a more ambitious scale over the next year’s cycle.
To register for the Roundtable, click here or visit the upcoming events section. Registration will begin in early February, and the agenda posted and updated. In the same time frame, Volume 6 of the Civil Affairs Issue Papers should appear on the Association website. Paper copies will be available at the Roundtable.
We look forward to seeing you at the next step in our continuous journey to shape the future of civil affairs this spring!
