The New York Times interviews Civil Affairs Association members Corine Wegener and Colonel Scott DeJesse regarding their effort to establish a new U.S. Army Reserve unit focused on cultural heritage preservation. Retired Major Wegener and Colonel DeJesse presented at the recent Civil Affairs Symposium in Tampa. Their work will lead to a unit of reservists under the auspices of the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations (Airborne).
